Restore your land and water resources with RiGHT

In recent years RiGHT has worked to develop a restoration services program to local landowners in the San Luis Valley. To respond to water shortages and shifts in climate patterns it has become a key priority of RiGHT’s to enhance and restore conserved working lands. Projects have included replacing irrigation structures, drilling wells and installing solar pumps, stabilizing eroding streambanks, planting trees, spreading native seed mixes, and fencing sensitive habitat areas.

RiGHT’s success in implementing restoration programming is dependent on partnering with other local organizations, including Wetland Dynamics, LLC, Ducks Unlimited, San Luis Valley Great Outdoors Action Team (SLV GOATS), and the Rio Grande Headwaters Restoration Project. Funding sources have included the North American Wetlands Conservation Act, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Colorado Parks and Wildlife Wetland Program and is sure to include many more as we continue to develop this program.
